This interactive workshop addresses the intersectionality of housing laws and regulations and the rights of domestic violence survivors. It provides an overview of the legal protections and resources available to help survivors access and retain safe housing, strategies for using the tools of landlord-tenant law to preserve safe housing, and practice tips for survivors and advocates. It also dispels some misconceptions about survivors’ rights in public and subsidized housing.
